 Darren Ness - Managing Director

 

Having successfully managed projects to completion with values up to $50M, Darren has proven himself a qualified and competent Projects Manager.  With over 15 yrs experience within the water industry, 3 yrs within the passive fire protection industry & successfully running a company for over 5 yrs, Darren has developed skills in all areas from operations, concrete assessment, coating selection & testing, estimating, budget control & design management for mechanical process and structural aspects for assets. Darren has broadened his skills and qualifications to become a CASA certified UAV chief controller which enables him to expand his ability to provide detailed condition assessment on all assets.

 Kevin Forrester - Managing Director/Field Services

 

Kevin’s 30 years’ experience has resulted in a strong acumen in the implementation and management of large installations with a high degree of accuracy and quality to the value of projects from $100,00 to $14million. Kevin’s major strength is leading a strong mechanical team to meet project deliverables safely, on time and on budget with quality being his leading principal.  He has enjoyed over 6 years’ experience with SA Water which brings an extensive knowledge base for both inherent and new wastewater and water assets. Kevin enjoys a ‘hands-on’ approach and is leading a strong team who collectively seek to deliver best industry practice outcomes for their clients.  

Ben Jolly - Project Manager/Pilot

 

Ben brings 20 years experience in Drafting and Engineering roles across the water utility and resources sectors. Ben is a qualified Electrician, Technical Officer and Project Manager. In addition to his electrical knowledge, Ben offers a strong understanding of Mechanical and Structural design and Asset Management across the full water asset base. Ben is a highly experienced design drafter and has managed drafting teams on multi-disciplinary projects. Ben was the second member of our team to obtain his CASA certification in August 2018.

 

Marc Lyons - Thermographer/Pilot

 

Originally hailing from Laois, Ireland before relocating to Australia in 2009, Marc is an A Class Electrician and level 2 Thermographer with 15 years experience in the field.

Marc brings exceptional levels of problem solving, professionalism and expertise to the project site, where the accuracy of his testing and inspection can be the difference between a safe and unsafe site.

Marc is also qualified in Airborne Ultrasonic Testing used for fault finding in high voltage systems.

 Dean Hurford - Project Manager

 

Dean has over 20 years of experience working in the electrical and electronic industry in the private sector including 18 years as business partner and manager of a team of personnel in a local business providing critical power protection service support and project delivery.  More recently, his role has been as a consulting senior project manager, developing and delivering of a diverse range of infrastructure and business change capital projects for over 13 years for the South Australian Government in water and wastewater. His experience working with and managing teams in both in the private and public sector, as well as his commitment to detail and delivering quality outcomes for his client is reflected in the success of the diverse range of projects delivered.
